The EB-5 Program
This government program allows individuals to obtain green cards in exchange for job-creating investments in the United States. The EB-5 Program has been in effect since 1990.

Taxes
Your obligation to pay taxes on income received from around the world will start as soon as you receive your green card. You will be obligated regardless of your period of stay in the United States.
US Citizenship
You can apply for U.S. citizenship after five years of residency based on a green card, provided that you stay in the U.S. for more than six months each year. The United States allows dual citizenship. The process of obtaining a US passport can take 4–18 months. You will be required to pass tests on language proficiency, basic United States history, and basic United States civics.
Accompanying Family Members
Your spouse and unmarried children under 21 years of age may be included in your principal investor application.

If you stay in the US for less than six months, US Customs and Border Protection has the right to issue a notice of violation of your terms of stay when you cross a federal border. They may even revoke your green card after repeated violations.
